WorldTrade Organization (WTO) (世界貿易組織)
The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) came into being in1948 as a multilateral instrument to promote trade. In 1993, theUruguay Round of GATT established the World Trade Organization as aninternational organization. The WTO deals with the rules of tradebetween nations and supports the multilateral trading system throughthe WTO agreements.
